Knowledge protection

If you have an invention or specific valuable knowledge you can consider protection of that knowledge before publishing it or sharing it into the public domain. Protecting knowledge, for instance via patenting, does not have to form any obstacle to publication in a journal. The knowledge, know how, inventions and other created works which can be protected by intellectual property rights are owned by your employer. In the event your employer commercializes said intellectual property rights, you are entitled to a fair remuneration. There are several ways to protect your knowledge: patenting, copyrights protection, model- and trademarks rights.
